Well Pressure Tank Warranty Coverage

A Well Protection Standard or Complete plan may include coverage for pressure tank failure — one of the most common private well system problems homeowners face.

Available on Standard and Complete Plans
Pressure tank coverage is included in Standard ($49/month) and Complete ($69/month) plans. The Basic plan does not include pressure tank coverage. All plans require inspection and eligibility review.

What Is a Pressure Tank and Why Does It Fail?

Your pressure tank stores pressurized water between pump cycles and maintains consistent water pressure throughout your home. It contains an air-charged bladder that separates the water from the pressurized air chamber.

Over time, the bladder can fail. When it does, the tank becomes waterlogged — completely filled with water. A waterlogged pressure tank causes your pump to cycle on and off rapidly (sometimes dozens of times per hour), dramatically reducing pump lifespan and leaving you with inconsistent water pressure.

Signs Your Pressure Tank May Be Failing

  • Pump starts and stops every few seconds
  • Water pressure fluctuates noticeably
  • Low or no water pressure
  • Water dripping from the air valve on the tank
  • Tank is completely full of water (no air cushion)
  • Pipes vibrate or knock when water runs

How Pressure Tank Coverage Works

If your pressure tank fails due to a covered mechanical cause, contact our service team. We coordinate a visit from a qualified well contractor who assesses the tank. If the failure is a covered condition under your plan, eligible replacement costs up to your coverage cap may be covered, subject to your service fee.
