The Well Inspection Requirement

Before coverage begins, all Well Protection plans require a well inspection performed by a qualified technician from our service network.

What the Inspection Covers

Wellhead & Casing
Visual inspection for damage, improper sealing, or contamination risk
Pressure Tank
Air pressure check, bladder condition, and tank response testing
Pressure Switch
Cut-in and cut-out pressure settings and switch condition
Pump Performance
Flow rate testing and pressure performance under load
Electrical Components
Control box, wiring, and electrical connections
Water Quality Indicators
Visible sediment, discoloration, or signs of contamination

What Happens After the Inspection

After the inspection is complete, you'll receive a summary of the findings. If no active issues are found and your system meets eligibility requirements, you can proceed with enrollment. Coverage begins after the 30-day waiting period.

If issues are found, we'll let you know what was identified. Minor issues may be noted as pre-existing exclusions. Major issues may require repair before enrollment can proceed.

Well inspection results are not a guarantee of future performance. An inspection determines current eligibility only and does not predict future failures or guarantee coverage of all components.
